Job Responsibilities:
1. Understand business requirements and participate in project roadmap discussions in order to design, estimate, and deliver secure and highly performing code
2. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability, concurrency and performance
3. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
4. Write well designed, testable, efficient code
5. Able to develop test driven programs
5. Ensure the system/applications are in compliance with specifications
6. Investigate, evaluate, and apply new technologies
7. Taking ownership of code quality by applying industry standard unit/integration testing techniques and best practices
8. Identify and implement performance improvements and optimizations
9. Basic Linux knowledge
10. Experience in distributed and parallel programming will be an advantage.
11. Exposure to AKKA and Play Frameworks.
10. Should be able to create/consume Restful APIs and SOAP web services.
